Privacy Policy
This is an English translation for convenience. The German version is legally binding.
1. Privacy at a glance
The following notes give a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to personally identify you.
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator, see "Responsible party" below.
How do we collect your data?
Some data is collected because you provide it to us — for example via our contact form or a newsletter signup. Other data is collected automatically by our web server when you visit the site (e.g. browser, operating system, time of access, page visited) and is used solely for the technical operation of the site.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request correction, deletion or restriction of processing of this data. If you have given consent, you can revoke it at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
2. Hosting
[Hosting provider and server location to be added once finalised.] Processing by the host is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — we have a legitimate interest in a reliable presentation of our website.

Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose for its processing no longer applies, subject to statutory retention obligations.

For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix and the lock icon in your browser's address bar.
4. Data collection on this website
Cookies
This website uses a technically necessary session cookie on the contact form (to protect against automated form spam); no consent is required for this under applicable law. In addition, we use the Matomo analytics tool (see below), which is only activated after your explicit consent via the cookie banner. On your first visit, a cookie banner asks whether you agree to the use of Matomo. Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage) and can be changed at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of this site.
Matomo (web analytics)
If you have consented via the cookie banner, we use the Matomo analytics service to understand how visitors use our website (e.g. pages visited, time spent, referral source). Analysis is carried out via a Matomo instance operated for us at sonar.netalytics.de; no data is passed on to advertising networks or other third parties.
Processing is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by selecting "Decline" again via "Cookie settings" in the footer. Without your consent, no Matomo script is loaded and no related cookies are set.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, the details you provide — including any contact data — are stored by us to process your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions (sent by email to our sales mailbox). We do not pass on this data without your consent.
Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we use your email address solely to send you the information you requested. We are notified of the signup by email.
Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can revoke at any time with effect for the future, e.g. by an informal email to sales@dronium.de.
Enquiries by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, your enquiry — including any resulting personal data — is stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
5. Your rights at a glance
You have the right at any time to information, correction, deletion and restriction of processing of your personal data stored with us, as well as a right to data portability. Please contact the responsible party listed above.
