All data is transmitted and stored encrypted, and role-based access rights ensure that every user group only sees the information relevant to their task. Logging and audit trails provide a complete record of who accessed which data and when — a basic requirement for public authorities and critical-infrastructure operators. Security updates are applied automatically in the background, with no action required from users.

Access controls can also be configured with fine-grained precision — by user, role, site and time period. For customers with specific data-sovereignty requirements, an on-premise deployment option is available as well.

The DroniumApp is hosted in German data centres, meeting not only GDPR requirements but also industry-specific data protection standards for critical infrastructure and public-sector clients.
